The wealth management arm of UBS has launched a digital platform for structured products in Asia.
«UBS Structured Products Digital» has gone live today for wealth management clients in Hong Kong and Singapore, according to a statement.
The platform will enable clients in the two hubs to customize and transact popular structures, such as equity-linked notes and reverse convertible notes, via online banking and mobile platforms. Users can access structures linked to 1,500 underliers across major equity markets and confirm trades «within minutes».
Digital Ecosystem
According to UBS, the new platform is part of the bank’s digital ecosystem, which already provides wealth management clients with direct access to various products including cash equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and funds.
«Asia is excited to be the first region to launch the UBS Structured Products Digital globally,» said Nicola Pantone, co-head unified global markets APAC. «With the launch of this service, we are bringing structured products to client’s fingertips. We are enhancing clients’ experience and empowering them to express their investing preferences timely and seamlessly.»
