Citi’s board members are scheduled to meet in Singapore next week for the first time since 2011.

The board of directors and executive management team of Citi will meet in Singapore on the week of 16 October 2023, according to a statement. During this period, they will meet clients, staff and regulators locally.

«We are delighted to welcome the Board back to Singapore for the first time in over a decade,» said Singapore Citi country officer Tibor Pandi.

Market Presence

Citi has had a presence in Singapore since 1902 and the city-state is now one of its largest markets worldwide across the markets, banking, services and wealth management businesses. It is also one of the bank’s four wealth hubs and houses around 8,500 staff.

«Singapore […] is a key global hub for the firm, housing a number of our regional and global client coverage and product units, and is home to many of our Asia and ASEAN leadership teams,» added Pandi. «The selection of Singapore for this year’s Board meeting signals Citi’s intent to invest and grow our business here for years to come.»
