Financial index provider MSCI has announced the appointment of a head of Australia and New Zealand.
MSCI has appointed Shane Edwards as head of Australia and New Zealand client coverage, according to a statement. Based in Sydney, he will report to head of APAC client coverage Kazuya Nagasawa.
Edwards has over 20 years of experience in leading global sales and structuring teams within the investment industry. Previously, he held various leadership roles at UBS, including global head of equity derivatives. Prior to that, he was the global head of structured sales, custom index and hybrid trading at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
