Zurich-based Julius Baer has relocated its second office in Singapore to a new space totaling more than 75,000 square feet.
Julius Baer has launched its new Singapore office at One@Changi City, according to a statement, relocating from Mapletree Business City. This is the Swiss bank’s second office in the city-state, alongside its first office for frontline colleagues at Marina One.
The new two-floor office boasts over 75,000 square feet of space, up 40 percent from the previous office. It will house nearly 700 employees from the bank’s operational, finance, human resources and audit teams.
Workplace Features
In addition to flexible workstations, breakout areas and meeting spaces, the office also features eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient lighting as part of Julius Baer's commitment to sustainability. According to the bank, its employees played an «integral role» in designing the office environment.
«Our new office at One@Changi City signifies a new era for Julius Baer and reinforces our strong commitment to Singapore. It is more than just a physical space, it represents our commitment to providing our teams with the best tools, environments, and support to excel in their roles,» said Julius Baer Singapore branch manager Yee Kim Tan.
Local Presence
Across the two offices, Singapore is the second largest location for Julius Baer globally by employee count. Besides being a key hub, it serves as a technology and innovation center for the bank. Numerous global initiatives are being driven out of Launchpad, its first innovation lab, housed at Marina One since 2021.
The bank’s operations in Singapore first commenced in November 2006.
