Sydney-based asset manager First Sentier Investors has announced the promotion of two top executives in Singapore.
First Sentier Investors has appointed Christy Goh as head of intermediary business, Asia and CEO, Singapore, according to a statement. Goh has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. She first joined the firm in 2006 and was most recently head of distribution, Southeast Asia.
Marcus Ong was also named as head of institutional business, Asia. Ong has more than 10 years of experience and he joined the Australian asset manager in 2022 as director of institutional business.
Goh and Ong are based in Singapore and they will both report to Lauren Prendiville, managing director and APAC head of distribution. Prendiville’s role was expanded to include leadership of the Australia business alongside Asia in 2023.
