Swiss Re is set to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer in the spring of 2025.
Anders Malmström will succeed John Dacey as Group Chief Financial Officer, Swiss Re announced on Wednesday.
Malmström will join Swiss Re in early 2025, from Athora Holdings, a European group specializing in savings and retirement products, where he has served as Group Chief Financial Officer since May 2021.
Prior to his time at Athora, he was Senior Executive Vice President and CFO at Equitable Holdings in New York and before that Senior Executive Director and CFO at Axa US, a member of the executive committee and head of the life insurance business at Axa Winterthur. He also held senior positions at Swiss Life.
