5. The Millennial Whisperer
A 25-year veteran of the wealth management industry, Eleanor Yuen began her career doing business for Asian property tycoons in their 1960s. More recently, she has done a lot more business with milliennial start-up millionaires from China, where a budding tech scene is fueling wealth.
Her hire by Julius Baer nearly two years ago from Credit Suisse, where she was global head of wealth planning, caused a stir – she is one of a handful of prominent names poached from larger rivals. Her specialities? Smoothing difficult family successions with the help of trust structures, and courting millennials with lots of money and not much time.
