9. The Rising Star
Never really in the spotlight before, Chung Wei Hsu, also known as Judy Hsu advanced to one of the most influential female bankers in Southeast Asia after Anna Marrs’ recent departure from Standard Chartered. The Canada-educated executive originally studied microbiology and immunology and counted basketball and choir among her loves before she went into finance. She joined Citigroup in 2006, and has been with Standard Chartered since 2009.
Hsu’s influence was underscored with a prestigious urban planning gig in her native Singapore. The banker is definitely on her way to further achievements.
