McLaren Strikes Naming Deal With Mastercard
From 2026, McLaren’s F1 team will be called the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, with the partnership promising fans unprecedented access.
McLaren Racing has signed Mastercard as its Official Naming Partner from 2026, in a deal that rebrands the outfit as the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team.
The partnership will launch «Team Priceless», a program offering fans behind-the-scenes access, hot laps, driver meet-and-greets, and curated cultural experiences at races worldwide.
Leaders’ Comments
The announcement was marked with a fan event in Amsterdam featuring McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix. «With Mastercard as naming partner, we will bring our Papaya Family even closer to the team,» said Zak Brown, McLaren Racing CEO.
Mastercard CMO Raja Rajamannar called the partnership «a commitment to put fans in pole position and deliver winning experiences».
