St. James’s Place Appoints Singapore CEO

British wealth manager St. James’s Place has announced the appointment of a chief executive officer for Singapore.

St. James’s Place has appointed John Elkovich as Singapore CEO, according to a statement, reporting to Oliver Wickham, partnership director for Asia and the Middle East. In the role, he will lead the Singapore office in identifying and pursuing market opportunities, driving business development, developing the client proposition and growing the partnership of financial advisors.

Elkovich has over 30 years of experience in financial services across wealth management, insurance and private banking. He joined St. James’s Place as head of partnership in 2024 and was appointed interim Singapore CEO in April 2025. Previously, he also worked at Prudential, Bank of China and ANZ.

«John’s proven leadership and deep experience in financial services will be instrumental in guiding our next phase of growth. Singapore continues to be a center of financial advice excellence, and I’m excited to build on that strength — attracting more high-caliber professionals to St. James’s Place as demand for quality advice continues to rise,» Wickham commented.
