Citi Adds JPM Banker for Markets Strategic Investments
The markets strategic investment team of Citi has hired a former J.P. Morgan executive to lead its regional unit in Asia.
Citi’s markets strategic investments team has appointed Nicholas Chin to lead Japan, Asia North & Australia, and Asia South team, according to a statement, reporting to Siris Singh, head of markets strategic investments. This team actively sources and executes venture investments in fintech companies and financial market infrastructure with professionals based in London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Chin joins from J.P. Morgan where he spent over eight years in its London office, tasked with venture and growth equity investments in the fintech sector. Prior to that, he spent nearly three years at Barclays in London in various strategic innovation and investment roles.
