Former UBS Investment Banker Joins Klay Group

Klay Group has appointed a former UBS senior executive as its first Global Head of Structured Investments and Derivatives, strengthening the Dubai-based firm’s global advisory platform.

The newly created role for Ahmad Chaudry reflects Klay Group’s ambition to expand its structured solutions offering and bolster its capabilities in liquidity management and hedging strategies.

Based in Dubai, Chaudry will develop innovative investment solutions across all major asset classes.

Nearly Two Decades in Global Banking

Chaudry brings close to 20 years of international investment banking experience. He joins from UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong, where he was Co-Head of APAC Global Markets Structuring and Head of Global Markets Platform Solutions.

His earlier career included senior roles at UBS in London, NatWest Markets, and HSBC Investment.

Chaudry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manchester and a Master’s degree in Quantitative Trading & Finance from Cass Business School.
