Exiger, the regulatory and financial crime, risk and compliance firm, has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director to lead the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Jake Scrivens a seasoned financial executive who has spent the last two decades working at the epicenter of financial reform and who is an expert in post-financial crisis bank restructuring, has joined the firm.
Scrivens joins Exiger from Barclays, where he was most recently Head of Markets Structuring, APAC, at the firm’s Investment Bank. In that role, he was responsible for structuring activities across all asset classes for the markets business.
While at Barclays, Mr. Scrivens also served as Head of Strategic Credit Portfolio Management Group at Barclays Capital, and as General Counsel in the legal and compliance division in both EMEA and APAC.

Before working at Barclays, Mr. Scrivens held positions with Indosuez W.I. Carr: as Director, Equity Derivatives, where he managed the warrants programs in Hong Kong and Singapore, and as Legal Counsel, where he established the firm’s compliance department in Asia.
