Singaporean firm Professional Investment Advisory Services has introduced the role of a Head of Partnership.
Taking on the role is Soh Yeow Liang (pictured below). He has more than 12 years of experience in the insurance and banking industries, and has held senior management roles in sales and channel distribution, insurance products development and management with financial institutions such as Citibank, Manulife, Prudential and Tokio Marine.
Prior to joining Professional Investment Advisory Services (PIAS), Soh last held the position as the Head of Partnership Distribution with Tokio Marine where he was responsible for the formulation and implementation of channel strategy for IFA, Bancassurance and International Brokers (HNW). The firm said in a press release. Soh graduated with a Master of Business Administration (majoring in Finance) from University of Leicester and he is a Certified Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Aviva Subsidiary
The role of the Head of Partnership is a newly and strategically created function within PIAS and Soh will have primary responsibility to spearhead its development and deliverance of Product & Partnership strategy for Insurance, Investment and Wealth Management and as well as operational activities.
Established in 2001, PIAS is a financial advisory firm in Singapore and is a subsidiary of U.K. firm Aviva. PIAS is currently managing in the region of $820 million of assets under advice.
