Vymo, a CRM company whose AI-enabled personal assistant is used by leading banks and insurers, has announced the hire of Rajesh Sabhlok as its chief customer officer as the firm aims at investing its presence in Asia Pacific, it announced in a press release on Wednesday.
Based out of Vymo's Singapore office, Sabhlok will focus on growing the firm's business in Japan and Asia Pacific markets. He reports directly to co-founder and CEO, Yamini Bhat.
Sabhlok brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in APAC. He was previously APAC head of strategy and innovation at risk management and advisory firm Willis Towers Watson, where he worked for 12 years. He also held roles at Aviva and Tata AIG in India, according to his LinkedIn profile.
APAC Growth
According to Vymo, the firm has experienced «tremendous growth» in the past 18 months in Asia Pacific. It noted several large enterprises that have been brought on as clients, including AIA, AXA, Allianz, Generali, Sumitomo Life, VP Bank, and FE Credit.
Vymo recently closed its Series B funding round, led by Emergence Capital and Sequoia India, which will allow it to grow its presence globally.
