SGX and Tiger Brokers: Building Tomorrow’s Advisors
Tiger Brokers Singapore, an online brokerage regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, partners with the Singapore Exchange, SGX, in a pioneering initiative to cultivate a new generation of licensed investment professionals.
As investors gain access to an ever-expanding array of innovative financial instruments worldwide, SGX sets the benchmark for product development and accessibility in Singapore. Its advanced product shelf-including daily leveraged certificates and structured certificates, offers sophisticated ways for investors to express market views beyond traditional equities, tailored to diverse goals and risk profiles.
Tiger Brokers has joined forces with SGX and its network of product issuers to co-develop a specialised curriculum in Specified Investment Products (SIPs), the two firms announced on Thursday.
This programme should ensure representatives acquire the technical knowledge and competencies needed to navigate complex instruments, creating a national ecosystem of skilled, tech-savvy professionals capable of delivering high-touch, high-tech support to today’s investors. The partnership also complements the Society of Remisiers (Singapore) and the Securities Association of Singapore’s Remisiers Development Programme.
