A Swiss fintech birther is expanding to Asia, with the help of a prominent private bank.
F10, a fintech birthplace run by Swiss stock exchange operator, will offer its «prototype to product» start-up program in Singapore, specialty outlet «Fintechnews.ch» reported. F10 begins the program on May 4.
The incubator is sending program head Lisa Schroeder (pictured above) to the city-state to oversee it. SIX, which is in the process of bidding for Madrid's bourse, as well as Swiss private bank Julius Baer, will chaperone the Singapore program.
F10 puts budding finance firms to a rigorous six-month «prototype to product» program to stress test the viability of their ideas. It is a competitor platform to the UBS- and Credit Suisse-backed Kickstart Accelerator.
