He succeeds Kelvin Chow, who has taken on a new remit as the CEO of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT.

Sydney-headquartered multinational property company Lendlease has made a senior appointment in its Asian operations with the appointment of Chong Min Gan as its managing director of investment management for Asia.

In his new role based in Singapore, Gan will drive global stakeholder management and the overall performance of the firm's assets under the various real estate private equity funds and joint ventures. Gan reports directly to Ng Hsueh Ling, managing director, Singapore and chief investment officer, Asia, according to an announcement on Thursday.

Managing High-Value Real Estate Funds

Gan has a track record of managing high-value real estate funds and large-scale integrated mixed-use assets. He joins from Capitaland China, where he spent more than 13 years, most recently as its Shanghai-based managing director of fund management. There, he led a team of senior executives managing four large private-equity real estate funds with a portfolio of nine mixed-use commercial assets.

«He is well suited to lead our regional investment management business in its next phase of growth,» Ng said about the appointment.
