OCBC’s private banking arm names the successor to Marc van de Walle, who recently resurfaced at Standard Chartered.
Lim Leong Guan joins Bank of Singapore as its new global head of products, according to a statement from the bank, where he will oversee investment research and strategy, portfolio management, lending structuring and advisory, and wealth planning and trust.
Lim joins from UBS’s wealth management business where he was most recently its Asia Pacific head of wealth planning and Singapore head of investment products and services. Lim has over 30 years of experience, including more than two decades with UBS, across trading and advisory services, discretionary products and wealth planning.
Lim succeeds Marc van de Walle, former head of global products at Bank of Singapore, who left in April this year. Last week, van de Walle resurfaced at Standard Chartered where he was named its global head of wealth management, succeeding Didier von Daeniken.
