The Asia Pacific head of wholesale banking for ING will pursue a career elsewhere after 23 years with the Dutch lender.
Krista Baetens will leave ING on December 31 this year, according to a statement, after first joining its Hong Kong office in 1998.
Remko Witteveen, currently APAC head of financial markets and strategic products, will last as the interim head from November 15 onwards until a successor is named.
Baetens’ 23-year career with ING spans across multiple roles in Asia, the Americas and Europe. She was appointed to her latest role in January this year, based out of Singapore, to oversee 14 markets in the region.
