Credit Suisse’s former head of prime brokerage is reportedly returning to provide support to the unit which continues to face the aftermath of the Archegos collapse.
Ex-prime services head Indrajit Bardhan will rejoin Credit Suisse as a consultant, according to a «Bloomberg» report citing unnamed sources.
Bardhan first left the bank in the role in 2018 as part of a raft of senior exits under former chief executive Tidjane Thiam. He was replaced by Paul Galietto who would subsequently be promoted to equities head before exiting last month over the $5.5 billion of Archegos-linked losses.
Roster Shakeup
Credit Suisse’s senior roster has been undergoing significant shakeup following revelations of its twin debacles linked with family office Archegos and Greensill supply chain funds.
On the latter issue, finews.asia reported the recent appointment of ex-head of structured lending, transactions and capital markets Niklaus Boser as general counsel in the asset management unit.
Separately, MENA head of equities Neil Hosie is also reportedly relocating to London and being replaced by Ryan Nelson.
