Northern Trust has announced an internal promotion to appoint a new branch manager for its Beijing unit.
Julie Zhu has been named Beijing branch manager, according to a statement, reporting to Angelo Calvitto, who was appointed as the APAC head last week.
Zhu replaces 13-year Northern Trust veteran Michael Wu who was most recently country executive for Greater China.
Zhou joined Northern Trust in 2005 with a focus on Chinese clients and was most recently its deputy Beijing branch manager. Previously, she also had 15 years of experience as a relationship manager.
