Chicago-headquartered Northern Trust has announced the appointment of a new Hong Kong head of asset servicing.
Northern Trust appoints Aisling Keane as head of asset servicing, Hong Kong, according to statement, reporting to head of Asia Pacific Angelo Calvitto. In the newly created role, she will lead the firm’s asset servicing business in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Keane has 20 years of industry experience, most recently at State Street as its head of alternative investment solutions, APAC. Previously, he also worked at BNP Paribas Securities Services and Credit Suisse.
Within APAC, Northern Trust has established a network that includes offices in Beijing, Bengaluru, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Melbourne, Pune, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. It services central banks, sovereign wealth funds, government agencies, corporations and asset managers in the region with an offering that include customized asset servicing, asset management and capital markets solutions.
