Chicago-headquartered Northern Trust has appointed a head of global fund services for the Asia Pacific region.
Northern Trust appoints Caroline Higgins as head of global fund services (GFS), APAC, according to a statement, effective October 1. Based in Australia, she reports to GFS president Toby Glaysher.
Higgins will relocate from Hong Kong where she led the business in the city, alongside Macau and Taiwan, since 2016 when she first joined Northern Trust. Previously she also held senior eldership, product and client management roles at Brown Brothers Harriman, State Street, RBC Global Services, UBS Brinson and Citibank.
Founded in Chicago in 1889, Northern Trust has a network of offices across APAC in Beijing, Bengaluru, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Melbourne, Pune, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. As of 30 June 2023, it had $14.5 trillion of assets under custody or administration.
