Fidelity International has hired a former BNY Mellon executive as its head of investment in Japan.
Miyuki Kashima joins Fidelity International as its Japan head of investments, according to a statement, reporting to APAC chief investment officer Paras Anand.
Kashima has over 30 years of experience and was most recently with BNY Mellon where she was head of equities, Japan. Previously, she also worked for ING and the former Merrill Lynch Asset Management.
She succeeds Takashi Maruyama who will take on a new role as senior advisor and support the overall business development of Fidelity’s Japan business.
