State Street strengthens its Asia Pacific business with the appointment of new heads for Australia and Singapore.
Tim Helyar has been named head of Australia and Kevin Hardy has been named head of Singapore and Southeast Asia, according to a statement, based in Sydney and Singapore, respectively.
In the two newly created roles, effective next month, Heylar and Hardy report to APAC chief executive Mostapha Tahiri.
External Hires
Heylar has financial experience across securities services, superannuation and wealth management, joining most recently from J.P. Morgan Investor Services where he was most recently its head of fund services product development for APAC.
Hardy joins from Additive Asia where he was its general manager for APAC. Previously, he also worked for various global asset managers including Blackrock, Northern Trust Global Investments and State Street Global Advisors.
