British fintech Revolut has hired a former HSBC banker to lead wealth and trading in Singapore.
Revolut Singapore has named Deepak Khanna as its new head of wealth and trading, according to a statement.
Khanna will be tasked with building and leading teams that will launch Revolut’s wealth and trading products, design the operational setup and manage product performance.
Khanna has over 20 years of wealth management experience, most recently with HSBC where he was the head of wealth products and journeys. Previously, he had also worked for ANZ Bank, RBS, ABN AMRO and ICICI Bank.
Following the acquisition of a capital markets services license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore earlier this month, Revolut will look to roll out its trading service in the first half of 2022 which will include no commissions and no account minimum for investing.
