Citi has promoted a 20-year asset management veteran to a global role based in Hong Kong.
Julie Koo has been named head of third party manager solutions for Citi Investment Management (CIM) – the global investment management arm of Citi Private Bank – according to «Citywire», reporting to the global head of CIM.
Based in Hong Kong, Koo is responsible for developing new manager relationships, overseeing existing manager relationships and driving the global sales and marketing efforts for Citi's third party business across all client segments.
Koo has over 20 years of industry experience and joined Citi in 2018. Previously, she also headed institutional business units at UBS Asset Management, HSBC Global Asset Management and Fidelity.
