Xia Li joins the bank's board of directors and is appointed to the audit and remuneration committees.
Saxo Bank shareholders elected Xia Li as a new member of the board of directors at an extraordinary general meeting in May, its Hong Kong-based subsidiary, Saxo Markets, indicated in an announcement.
Li is both the president and CEO of Genius Auto Finance, a Geely Automobile and BNP Paribas Personal finance joint venture that was established in 2015.
The board of directors also appointed Li to the bank's audit and remuneration committees. Saxo Bank founder Kim Fournais says the step «also marks another female director joining our Board,» which assists with «the company’s diversification».
