Citi has announced the appointment of a new chief financial officer for Asia Pacific, finews.asia has learned.
Citi appoints Anand Sairam as chief financial officer for Asia Pacific, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia. Based in Singapore, Sairam will lead the APAC finance team to manage financial performance and reporting, strategy and planning, and maintain controls for all Citi businesses in the region.
Sairam has nearly two decades of experience including the last eight years with Citi’s finance team, most recently as Asia’s regional head of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) after serving in the role of head of corporate FP&A. Prior to joining Citi in 2014, he also held investment banking roles at Nomura Securities and Deutsche Bank.
A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the contents of the memo.
