US asset manager Allspring Global Investments has opened a Hong Kong office and appointed an industry veteran as its North Asia head of sales.
Allspring Global Investments opens a newly licensed office in Hong Kong, according to a statement, and appoints Linda Luk as its head of sales for North Asia.
In her role, Luk will lead distribution and marketing activities across the region and oversee the execution of the firm’s sales strategy and servicing of clients in Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.

Luk has nearly 30 years of experience in the investment industry, most recently as a managing director and chief distribution officer at Income Partners Asset Management. Previously, she also worked at Vanguard as its head of Hong Kong distribution.
Headquartered in North Carolina, Allspring has offices worldwide housing 450 investment professionals and as of 30 September 2022, it had $463 billion in assets under management.
