The fund management subsidiary of Hong Kong-based alternatives specialist Sun Hung Kai & Co. has hired a former executive from Value Partners.
Sun Hung Kai Capital Partners has appointed Lincoln Chan as director, according to a statement, effective immediately. In the role, he will be responsible for the sales of funds and products.
Chan has more than 15 years of asset management experience, most recently as director of intermediary business at Hong Kong-based fund firm Value Partners. Prior to that, he also held senior positions at HSBC, Standard Chartered and Citibank.
Sun Hung Kai Capital Partners is the fund management subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai & Co., an alternatives and wealth management firm established in 1969. It provides tailored investment solutions to like-minded partners and ultra-high net worth investors through its family office solutions across public markets, credit and alternatives strategies including real estate and private equity. As of 30 June 2024, it had about HK$39.5 billion ($5.1 billion) in total assets.
