BNP Paribas has announced the appointment of a new head of transaction banking for Asia Pacific.
Philippe Noirot has been named head of transaction banking, APAC, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, Noirot reports to APAC CEO Paul Yang. He succeeds Chye Kin Wee, who will be retiring in February.
Noirot has 21 years of banking experience, including 11 years in the APAC region. He was most recently the French lender’s head of territory, Korea, for seven years.
«[Noirot’s] extensive experience in Asia and leading the bank’s South Korea business placed him in good stead to further build on our transaction banking platform, which is a key pillar in our 'Growth, Technology and Sustainability 2025’ plan,» said Yang.
