The wealth management unit of BNP Paribas has hosted its 17th annual next generation event in Asia.

BNP Paribas Wealth Management concluded its two-day «17th Asia NextGen Experience», according to a statement. The event featured a lineup of family business leaders, leading venture capitalists, successful entrepreneurs and innovators as speakers, with a focus on the central theme of «agility and adaptability in today’s rapidly changing world».

Some of the speakers involved included Tony Yeung, CEO of real estate firm Peterson Group; Desiree Au, publisher of Vogue Hong Kong; Jacqueline Chak, founding partner of architecture company Editecture; and Shaway Yeh, founder of sustainability agency yehyehyeh.

Topics covered sustainable investing, the evolving landscape of esports and gaming as well as the future of live entertainment. The first day was held at The Henderson in Hong Kong and on the second day, the French private bank led participants to a tour in Shenzhen of leading companies in the technology sector.
