Zurich-headquartered asset manager GAM has hired a new analyst for its Asian equities team in Hong Kong.
Fanwei Zeng joins GAM as an investment analyst in the Asian equities team which is led by investment director Jian Shi Cortesi, according to a statement.
Based in Hong Kong, Zeng and the team will work closely with Swetha Ramachandran, the investment director of GAM’s luxury brands strategy, and be supported by senior analyst Wendy Chen as part of broader collaboration with the global equities team led by Mark Hawtin.
Prior to joining GAM, Zeng worked for asset manager Aplus Partners in Hong Kong as an investment committee member. Previously, she was an investment banking analyst at Shenzhen-based real estate group Kaisa.
