The Asia equity capital markets co-head of Morgan Stanley has reportedly retired after 15 years with the American lender.
Morgan Stanley’s APAC ECM co-head Magnus Andersson is retiring after 15 years at the firm, according to a «Bloomberg» report citing an internal memo. Following his departure, fellow APAC ECM co-head Cathy Zhang will continue to lead the team.
Andersson joined Morgan Stanley in London in 2007 before relocating to Hong Kong in 2019 to become co-head of ECM for the region.
Andersson's retirement occurs just months after ex-APAC ECM co-head Alex Abagian left in December 2022 after over two decades at Morgan Stanley and was succeeded by Zhang.
