Frankfurt-headquartered Commerzbank has announced the appointment of a senior economist to cover China.
Commerzbank appoints Dr. Tommy Wu as senior China economist, according to a statement, based in Singapore. In the role, he reports to chief economist Dr. Joerg Kraemer and Asia regional board member Nick Johnston.
Previously, Wu was a lead economist at Oxford Economics where he joined in 2017. Wu first started his career as an economist at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, covering China and the Asia Pacific region.
