Julius Baer has expanded its global India team with a new hire in Singapore, finews.asia has learned.
Komal Syal joins Julius Baer as a team head in the global India Singapore team, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia, effective immediately. Based in Singapore, Syal reports to Kunal Sumaya, group head, global India and Japan Singapore.
Syal has more than two decades of experience and rejoins Julius Baer after a brief stint from 2016 to 2017. Previously, she also worked at Standard Chartered, BSI and RBS Coutts.
A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the contents of the memo.
