French asset manager Amundi has made an internal promotion to the role of country head for Japan.
Amundi appoints Katsumi Fujikawa as country head of Japan, according to a statement. He will also become a member of the asset manager’s executive committee.
Fujikawa has over three decades of experience, having first joined Amundi in August 2021 as executive vice president and head of retail business in Japan. Previously, he also worked at BlackRock, UBS Securities and Barclays de Zoete Wedd, where he started his career in 1989 in UK equity sales.
