Rivals continue to benefit from talent outflow at Credit Suisse, this time with HSBC hiring eight bankers from the Swiss lender for its equities unit.

HSBC has hired eight former Credit Suisse executives for its global equities unit, according to a statement. The new joiners are based in several locations including London, New York and Asia.

Within the region, the hires include Hong Kong-based director Tiffany Chiu and head of India high-touch execution Parin Sanghavi. The British lender also made a ninth hire that was not from Credit Suisse in Steve Jobber, who previously worked at alternatives manager Davidson Kempner.
