LA-headquartered Capital Group has announced the appointment of two investment directors for its fixed income team in the Asia Pacific region.
Capital Group appoints Manusha Samaweera and Haran Karunakaran as fixed income directors for APAC, according to a statement, based in Singapore and Sydney, respectively.
Samaweera has around 15 years of experience, most recently as a fixed income and ESG strategist at PIMCO. Karunakaran, whose new role will be focused on Australia, has 18 years of industry experience and joined Capital Group two years ago from PIMCO, where he was a senior vice president and fixed income strategist.
