London-based Knight Frank has announced the appointment of a head of living sectors for Asia Pacific.
Knight Frank appoints Emily Relf as head of living sectors, APAC, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, she reports to Neil Brookes, global head, capital markets.
In the newly created role, Relf will lead the expansion of Knight Frank's living sectors capabilities in APAC and advise outbound capital from the region into the US, UK and EU.
She will be responsible for strengthening the partnership with New York-based commercial real estate firm Berkadia, which will focus on executing «significant capital market initiatives in the US». Relf will also work closely with the Australia team to grow the local partner network and identify new opportunities, particularly in the built-to-rent market.
Growth Outlook
According to the statement, living sectors will account for one-third of direct real estate investments globally by 2030. 47 percent of Knight Frank clients see the space as a primary focus for investments.
