Singapore-based United Overseas Bank has announced the appointment of a head of global markets and Hong Kong CEO.
UOB has appointed Kelvin Ng as head of group global markets, according to a statement, effective April 1. Ng is currently deputy head of group global markets and he will replace Leslie Foo, who is retiring.
The Singapore lender also named Adaline Zheng as Hong Kong branch CEO, succeeding Christine Ip. In the role, Zheng will report to Ip, who remains as the bank’s Greater China CEO alongside her other role as head of group strategic communications and brand in Singapore.
Ng has over 20 years of experience and first joined UOB in June 2019. She was most recently head of wholesale banking and alternate CEO at UOB China.
