The asset management arm of Paris-based Natixis has hired a former J.P. Morgan executive as the head of the wholesale business for Southeast Asia.
Natixis Investment Managers has appointed Mark Kwek as head of wholesale, Southeast Asia, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he reports to Singapore CEO Dora Seow.
In the role, Kwek is responsible for leading and accelerating the development of the firm’s wholesale business in key markets across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines. He will focus on driving new initiatives across wholesale channels, grow the regional distribution footprint, deepen existing client relationships and develop new partnerships with a customized approach.
Kwek joins from J.P. Morgan Asset Management where he was an executive director on the private wealth solutions team, developing business with private banks and family offices.
