BNP Paribas AM Names Head of EM Debt

The asset management arm of BNP Paribas has appointed a head of emerging markets debt.

BNP Paribas Asset Management has appointed Alaa Bushehri as head of emerging markets debt (EMD), according to a statement. Based in London, she reports to fixed income chief investment officer Olivier de Larouzière. In the role, Bushehri will oversee the EMD platform which includes local fixed income investment teams in Brazil, Indonesia, Poland, and Turkey. 

Bushehri has worked at BNP Paribas for over 20 years, including as head of emerging markets corporates within the EMD team for the past 11 years.
