The Singapore unit of AIA has announced an internal promotion to the position of chief technology officer.
AIA Singapore has appointed Afees Ashroff as chief technology officer, according to a statement, reporting to CEO Wong Sze Keed. In the role, he succeeds Peter Lee who has decided to step down to focus on personal matters. Ashroff has 20 years of banking and insurance experience. He has worked at AIA Singapore since 2018 and was most recently its head of digital technology.
«I am confident that Afees will be a strong addition to my management team and will continue to drive AIA Singapore’s digitalization agenda across our organization to deliver the best service experience for our customers,» Wong commented.
