Baltimore-based asset manager T. Rowe Price has hired a former executive from Amundi to join its Korea business.
T. Rowe Price has appointed Jeffrey Jeon as senior director, institutional distribution, Korea, according to a statement. Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Singapore-based Sae Joon Choi, head of institution, Southeast Asia and Korea.
Jeon has over 10 years of industry experience and was most recently working at Amundi as head of ETF, indexing & smart beta sales for North Asia. Previously, he also held various sales positions at BlackRock, focusing on the Korean institutional client segment.
