Julius Baer has confirmed that the newly appointed CEO will start his new job in January 2025.
Stefan Bollinger will commence his role as Julius Baer CEO on 9 January 2025, according to an announcement that was part of the bank’s financial results for the first 10 months of 2024. He was first named CEO in July and was expected to start the job no later than 1 February 2025.
Bollinger has 30 years of financial services experience in trading, structuring, sales, treasury and wealth management in Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, New York and Zurich. This includes 20 years at Goldman Sachs where is a partner and London-based co-head of private wealth management for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously, he also worked at J.P. Morgan and Zürcher Kantonalbank.
