A real estate joint venture between Warburg Pincus and Sydney-headquartered Lendlease has appointed a chief executive officer based in Singapore.
Private equity firm Warburg Pincus and Australian integrated property group Lendlease have appointed Bart Price as CEO of their life sciences, R&D and innovation real estate joint venture platform, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he will oversee the platform’s strategic growth plans, identifying opportunities to further scale the platform and generate outsized returns for its investment partners.
Price has over 20 years of experience across real estate, infrastructure investments and capital markets across Asia Pacific. Previously, he worked at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council as head of growth markets real assets and GIC as senior vice president for real estate investments.
The joint venture was established in July 2024 and has over S$2 billion ($1.5 billion) in assets under management. Notable deals include the acquisition of a S$1.6 billion portfolio of assets in Singapore in August 2024, marking one of the largest private portfolio transactions for industrial assets in the city-state.
