Singapore-headquartered CapitaLand Investment has announced three senior appointments, including the hire of a former private banking executive.
CapitaLand Investment has appointed Yvonne Siew as managing director & head, product development and wealth markets, private capital markets, according to a statement, effective January 22. She will be responsible for leading product development, client services and marketing communications for CapitaLand's private funds and also drive the growth of its private wealth business.
Siew has more than 20 years of experience across the real estate industry, most recently as head of real estate advisory and investments at Bank of Singapore. Prior to that, she also worked at CBRE and Citi Private Bank.
Malaysia REIT
In addition, Yong Su-Lin will assume the position of CEO of CapitaLand Malaysia REIT Management (CMRM), the manager of CapitaLand Malaysia Trust, effective February 1. Yong has over 28 years of real estate and banking experience. Previously, she held senior roles at Lendlease Group, Sentral REIT Management and Quill Capita Management.
Current CMRM CEO Tan Choon Siang will become deputy CEO of CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust Management (CICT) from February 1. He will assist CICT CEO Tony Tan in managing all aspects of the business.
